Why does Evan Prodromou keep referring to these services as “micro-blogging”?

That’s how Ev Williams originally perceived twitter, but they eventually learned that isn’t what it is at all.

It is a multi-channel communications service.

When talking to laymen, I tell them it is “group SMS also accessible via the web.”

I still only get 8 seconds of it. Glad it’s working for others, but I wish I could figure out what’s messing it up on this end. Hmmm …a mystery. Thanks for checking and happy to hear you were alarmed for nothing! Maybe it will be working for me by the time we get back from our canoe trip over the next couple days. I will miss you guys!
