A Google browser, made from Open Source as an open source project released first on Vista/XP? Rather than questions about when members Mac self-interest might be gratified, I had hoped some one would ask why, rather than when.
Google has just sold another copy of XP, to me, so I can try this new browser, rather than wait months for a Linux/Mac version.
Very disappointed.
Hamish.

There is no reason that an optimized standards-based solution like JavaScript+HTML+CSS+SVG+SMILE cannot overtake technologies like Flash and Silverlight in the browser. Flash is a presentation technology and not a good platform for application development. Silverlight does not seem to be getting much traction and will be ignored by major web developers until it does.
