Holy cow! This is the first episode that I have listened to. I will reserve judgment until I listen to a couple more, but if this is the way they all are, then this will be a short investigation. Is the political left so self-absorbed that they think the US will come to an end of the McCain ticket gets elected? Also, I found the continued references to the “ill-informed electorate” to be tiresome. I believe it was Mr. Gillmor who complained that he didn’t like people of a particular belief to shove their ideas down his throat. What has anybody forced you to believe or do? I don’t feel pressure to do anything that my elected officials espouse. Sure, there are laws, but those are passed by a larger body, not just a select few.
I suspect that this is the style of this program, but listening to a handful of folks gripe about political candidates without substantive discourse is boring at best. The whole “sky is falling” overtone didn’t help the listening experience. I’ll be back, but I don’t have the stomach for much more of the same.
