		<description>It's always great to listen to Chris. I definitely agree with his ideas on grassroots support for emerging formats.

I also like Dare and i can see where he is coming from. In fact, Microsoft ran a site at http://biztalk.org many years ago which was looking at standard schemas for everything from addresses to purchase orders. I wish they had really pushed that back then.

There is need in the case of standards to look at ieft, oasis, w3 etc, but where i think is needed right now is support, community and structure for social efforts.

I do worry that without support from MS it could be headed into problems but i don't think it's a conspiracy against MS (although Google are clearly making it go in the "right" direction for them).

One thing - the discussion forums *are* a good place to put some opinion in, but so much of the real work on this happens offline and many of us don't really get to be involved.</description>
